WHY THIS MATTERS NOW
Our goal is not simply to acquire a building. It is to build understanding.
For many Americans, Iran is known mainly through headlines about governments and conflict. Those stories are real, but they are a small part of a much larger one.
Governments may disagree. Nations may fight. But music, art, poetry, family, and human connection endure.

A heritage worth preserving
Persian civilization has shaped the world for millennia, in poetry, science, architecture, and art. The words of Rumi, Hafez, Ferdowsi, and Saadi are still read across the globe. These traditions deserve a permanent place to live.

A home for the next generation
For Persian American children, culture often arrives in fragments: a grandparent’s words, Nowruz at home, a family recipe. The Center gives them language, music, history, and friendship. Proudly Persian and proudly American.

Telling our own story
As Persian culture becomes more visible, it is sometimes separated from its history. The Center will be an authentic place where Persian Americans share their traditions and the meaning behind them.

A gift to the whole region
Families at a concert, students exploring history, schools bringing their classes, neighbors celebrating Nowruz together. The Center adds a new cultural institution to the region’s cultural arts, education, and civic life.

THE MATCHING CHALLENGE
A generous donor has pledged the first $200,000 towards our $400,000 campaign, if we can raise the other $200,000 by December 31, 2027! Together, these funds will allow PACS to make a permanent home in our community.
